More and more buying decisions now start with a question to an AI assistant: "what's the best tool for X?" That answer increasingly decides which products people even consider — yet it's invisible: it differs by model, shifts week to week, and nobody publishes what it actually is.

RecoIndex measures it, in the open. Every week we ask the major AI models the questions real buyers ask, and publish which brands they name — with sample sizes and the sources behind them. Our bias is toward being reproducible and honest about limits, not toward any brand. See the methodology for exactly how it works.
